The Middleton Senior Center’s Social Seniors Meet Monthly!
Every month, the Social Seniors group gathers for a day trip to a local destination, often including breakfast or lunch at a restaurant. They have a great time together, laughing and learning about various topics as they tour area businesses.
- Tuesday, March 17- 11:30 pm: Lunch at Paul’s Neighborhood Bar.
- Wednesday, March 25- 11:00 am: Meet Elmer the therapy dog at Gunderson Funeral Home, with lunch to follow.
- Wednesday, April 1- 9:00 am: Breakfast at the Original Pancake House, followed by a planning meeting.
- Wednesday, April 15- 11:30 am: Lunch at R.P. Adler’s Pub & Grill.
- Wednesday, May 6- 9:00 am: Breakfast at Denny’s, followed by a planning meeting.
- Tuesday, May 19- 11:30 am: Lunch at Chili’s.
- Wednesday, May 27- 9:30 am: Carpool from MSC to Circus World, followed by lunch.
Anyone who wants to participate should register at least two business days in advance by calling 608-831-2373. Everyone 55 and older is invited!
Our Purpose
The purpose of the Senior Center is:
- To coordinate programs and services for older adults that help maintain their dignity and independence
- To provide older adults with a variety of educational and recreational opportunities
- To provide information and referrals to older adults and their families
- To facilitate civic engagement of older adults within the community
Accreditation
The Middleton Senior Center is accredited by the National Institute of Senior Centers and the Wisconsin Association of Senior Centers.
Funding
The Senior Center is a Department of the City of Middleton. The city is its primary funding source, and Dane County also contributes a portion of its budget.
