What is “Eyes on the Lines”?

A kid-friendly, citywide safety campaign that treats crosswalk stripes like lifelines—with weekly tips, playful graphics, and Louie cheering on safe walking, biking, and driving.

Quick safety checklists

  • Walkers: Cross at the stripes, make eye contact, wear something bright after dark.
  • Drivers: Slow down and stop for pedestrians in crosswalks; put your phone down and keep your eyes up.
