City of Middleton specific closures and updates regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.
A message from our Middleton Mayor.Dear fellow Citizens,COVID 19 has challenged communities and states across the U.S. and around the world, like nothing since 1918. It shows how interconnected we all are. Who could have predicted how the global economy and our lives would change so drastically and so quickly? In these tumultuous times, I want to assure you that Middleton’s first responders (Police Department, EMS and Fire Company) are ready to render aid at any time. We are grateful to these outstanding professionals. Your city staff leadership team is working to provide you uninterrupted essential services while adapting to our governor’s health emergency declaration and Safe at Home regulations. Our library is closed. All non-essential meetings are cancelled. The Senior Center and the City Hall, while closed to the public, are providing essential services. Many city employees are working from home. It is very hard for so many people who have lost their jobs and for small businesses. I know we are facing trying times. COVID-19 is impacting not only the health of our loved ones but people’s livelihood. Let us continue to help our neighbors, friends and small business. We will get through this. CDC guidelines can be found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html. Election Day is still April 7.
