Welcome to the City of Middleton Planning Department's webpage! Our department is responsible for updating the City’s Comprehensive Plan and supporting other planning efforts that shape Middleton’s future growth. We also manage key aspects of the City's development, including land divisions, rezonings, subdivisions, planned developments, conditional and special use permits, site plan reviews, variances, annexations, and amendments to zoning, subdivision, and sign ordinances.

We provide staff support to various city boards and committees, including the Plan Commission, Zoning Board of Appeals, Community Development Authority, and more.
