Bird Collision Prevention Workshop Coming to Middleton
Did you know that window collisions are one of the leading causes of bird deaths in urban areas?
As a Bird City Wisconsin community, Middleton continues working to protect both resident and migrating birds. Community members are invited to attend an upcoming hands-on workshop focused on practical strategies to reduce bird-window collisions.
Participants will learn about:
• Why bird collisions occur
• Effective solutions for homes and buildings
• Community programs and policy tools that help protect migratory birds
• Practical resources communities can use to reduce collisions
This training is especially valuable for community leaders, sustainability volunteers, educators, planners, and residents interested in bird conservation.
