🎉 New Year’s Week Trash & Recycling Reminder

As we head into the new year, here’s a quick reminder from the City of Middleton:

There will be no trash or recycling pickup on New Year’s Day (Thursday, Jan. 1).

What to expect this week:
• Thursday and Friday routes are delayed by one day
• Monday–Wednesday routes are not affected
• Pickup times may vary—please have carts out by your designated pickup time or the night before

Winter Collection Reminders ❄️

A few quick tips for winter service:

• Clear snow and ice so carts are easy to access
• Do not place carts on snowbanks or in the street
• Place carts at least 4 feet apart and away from obstructions
• Keep lids fully closed
• Bag trash to reduce wind-blown litter

🚫 Safety reminder:
Please do not place batteries or battery-powered items in trash or recycling carts. Batteries can cause fires. Use a proper drop-off site such as Clean Sweep, battery retailers, or call2recycle.org.
