🎄 Christmas Week Trash & Recycling Reminder

A quick holiday reminder from the City of Middleton:

There will be no trash or recycling pickup on Christmas Day (Thursday, Dec. 25).

What to expect this week:
• Thursday and Friday routes are delayed by one day
• Monday–Wednesday routes are not affected
• Pickup times may vary—please have carts out by your designated pickup time or the night before

Winter Collection Reminders ❄️

Help keep collections running smoothly:

• Clear snow and ice so carts are accessible
• Do not place carts on snowbanks or in the street
• Place carts at least 4 feet apart and away from cars, mailboxes, and other obstructions
• Keep lids fully closed to reduce wind-blown litter
• Bag trash to help prevent spills if carts tip over

🚫 Safety reminder:
Please do not place batteries or battery-powered items in trash or recycling carts. Batteries can cause fires. Take them to a drop-off location such as a Clean Sweep site, battery retailer, or visit call2recycle.org.
