A New Partnership with Pellitteri & Brightmark

Great news, Middleton! A brand-new recycling program is now accepting plastic films, bags, foam, and more at the Middleton Recycling Center. In partnership with Pellitteri and Brightmark, we’re turning hard-to-recycle materials into valuable new products — and reducing waste in our community.

♻️ How the Program Works

✔ Step 1: Bring your clean, dry plastic waste to the Middleton Recycling Center.
✔ Step 2: Pellitteri collects and transports the materials to the Brightmark Circularity Center.
✔ Step 3: Brightmark's Plastics Renewal technology transforms the materials into ISCC PLUS-certified circular products.

📋 Recycling Guidelines

✔ Containers must be rinsed and emptied
✔ No food residue
✔ Remove all metal (if it cannot be removed, it cannot be recycled)
✔ No batteries or rechargeable items
✔ No clothing or diapers

🛍️ Accepted Items

These clean, dry plastic and foam items are accepted:

• Plastic wrap on paper products
• Plastic wrap on beverages
• Plastic grocery bags
• Plastic mailers (remove labels if possible)
• Plastic straws
• Foam packaging & trays
• Bubble wrap
• Packing peanuts
• Stretch wrap
• Plastic baggies
• Tarps (brass rivets removed)
• Chip bags
