Update on Emergency Response at Lakeview Park

Middleton, WI — The Middleton Police Department is providing an update following this morning’s emergency response at Lakeview Park.

A search of the park was conducted in relation to the Green Alert issued by the Sun Prairie Police Department today.  A deceased individual was located in the park.  There are no signs of foul play.

Lakeview Park has been reopened to the public.

We want to thank community members for their patience and understanding as first responders searched the area.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Sun Prairie Police Department, Dane County Sheriff’s Office, Shorewood Hills Police Department, Waunakee Police Department, Middleton Fire District, Madison Fire Department, Middleton EMS, and the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office for their assistance.
