Project Overview

The City of Middleton has begun work on the 2027–2031 Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (CORP) — a guiding document that directs the development, enhancement, and preservation of the community’s parks and open spaces.

Updated every five years, the CORP helps:

• Identify and prioritize future park improvements
• Support grant funding opportunities
• Ensure that Middleton’s park system continues to meet residents' evolving needs through safe, inclusive, and accessible recreation opportunities.

The updated plan, expected to be completed in May 2026, will be shaped by community feedback gathered through surveys, youth engagement sessions, stakeholder interviews, and public meetings — all of which will help create a shared vision for a high-quality, connected, and sustainable parks and recreation system.
