Middleton Unveils New Sign and Name for Bauman Community Pool
Today, the City of Middleton celebrated the unveiling of a new sign and logo at the city’s beloved pool facility, marking its official transition from the Walter E. Bauman Aquatic Center to the newly named Bauman Community Pool.
The dedication ceremony, held on Thursday, July 3 at 1:00 PM, brought together city leaders, the Bauman family, and community members to honor the late Mayor Walter E. Bauman, whose dedication to public service left a lasting mark on Middleton.
“Walter Bauman left a legacy of service, community building, and civic pride,” said Mayor Emily Kuhn. “The new name and sign at Bauman Community Pool reflect our commitment to honoring his memory while inviting the entire community to gather and celebrate summer together.”
During the event, attendees enjoyed remarks from the Mayor and Bauman family members before the official unveiling of the colorful new sign and logo, which represent a fresh look for the popular community gathering spot.
Located at 2400 Park Lawn Place, the Bauman Community Pool has been open since early June, providing residents and visitors with a welcoming place to cool off, connect, and enjoy Middleton’s vibrant summer season. The updated name and branding underscore the city’s commitment to fostering inclusive, community-centered spaces.
