Middleton is proud to join communities across Wisconsin in celebrating Bike Week — a chance to connect, ride, learn, and have fun on two wheels. Whether you're a seasoned cyclist, a casual cruiser, or just bike-curious, there’s something here for you.
🎉 Kickoff Event – Sunday, June 1 | 3:00–5:00 PM
📍 Stone Horse Green & Elmwood Avenue
Join us for an exciting Bike Week Kickoff Celebration featuring:
3:00–4:00 PM: Community Bike Ride
A slow-paced, ~5-mile ride through Middleton’s paths and neighborhoods, led by City officials. Great for all ages and skill levels. Helmets encouraged!
4:00–5:00 PM: Explore & Learn
After the ride, stick around for:
Trash Lab – A mobile museum built from a recycled trash truck, created by Dane County and the Madison Children's Museum. Learn about sustainability, waste, and innovation through this engaging hands-on exhibit.
Metro Transit BRT Bus Demo – Check out one of the new Bus Rapid Transit vehicles and practice loading your bike on the front rack.
Local Business Helmet Deals – Ride over wearing your helmet and get discounts at select businesses downtown!
