The City of Middleton is developing a five-year update to its Conservancy Lands Plan, which guides the management of over 820 acres of conservancy lands.

The 2025-2030 Conservancy Lands Plan updates continue the work done in the 2018-2023, 2011-2016, and 2005 Conservancy Lands Plan. They will reflect Middleton’s land use changes and citizen interests over the last decade.

Over the next five years, our focus will be on providing recommendations and managing priorities for conservancy lands, seeking and incorporating public input, and addressing changes since 2018, such as the flooding of Pheasant Branch Creek. We will document past work and current conditions in the conservancies and update the system-wide map of Middleton’s conservancies along with individual conservancy maps.
