Lake Street & Dewey Court Project

• Start of construction – Monday, July 29
  NO BOAT or PADDLE CRAFT LAUNCHING
  (boats can be launched at Mendota Park or Marshall Park)
• End of construction – October 31
• Pier/dock to be installed  – Spring 2025

The planned general construction sequence includes:

1. Install water main on Lake St., working east from Allen Blvd.
2. Install replacement sanitary sewer across Allen Blvd.
3. After safe water is verified in the new Lake St. main, connect temporary service to the east condo building.
4. Install water main south from Century Ave., down Dewey Ct. and across easement area at Century Harbor to connect with Lake St.
5. Install storm sewer at the east end of Lake St.
6. Construct wall and other landscaping at the new lakeshore park.
7. Install new concrete elements (sidewalks, replacement curb).
8. Majority of fine grading for restoration.
9. Pave road – currently planned for mid-October.
