Bruce Holding LLC, in partnership with The Bruce Company of Wisconsin, Inc., and T. Wall Enterprises, has applied for a Zoning Map Amendment to rezone the property described below from B3 (Highway Business) to PDD-G (Planned Development District – General Implementation Plan). The purpose of the proposed rezoning is to allow for reconstruction of The Bruce Company offices and retail operations as well as a mixed-use development consisting of the following:
- Six multi-family buildings with underground parking, up to 5 stories.
- A retail / office building up to 2 stories.
- A greenhouse building up to 1 story.
- A commercial / office building up to 3 stories.
- A commercial / multi-family building up to 5 stories.
- A clubhouse up to 1 story.
- An office or multi-family building up to 7 stories.
- An office / hotel & conference center building up to 7 stories.
The overall square footage of multi-family will not exceed 644,000 square feet or 800 units of housing. The overall office square footage will not exceed 271,000 square feet. The overall retail square footage will not exceed 48,000 square feet. The overall hotel and conference center square footage will not exceed 105,000 square feet or 500 hotel rooms.

During the hearing, all interested persons will have an opportunity to speak or register their opinion. Statements may also be provided to City staff by 4:30 p.m. on the day of the hearing. The Plan Commission may take action following the hearing.
