Airport Master Plan Open House scheduled for Saturday, April 10
The City of Middleton, with the guidance of the Airport Master Plan Advisory Committee, has scheduled a virtual open house to provide an opportunity for the public to ask questions and offer comments about the draft airport master plan that is being prepared by local consulting firm Mead & Hunt. In particular, the City is seeking feedback on runway and hangar development alternatives, which include “no-build” options. Additional details, including logistics about how the open house will be conducted, are available on the City’s website at:
DATE & TIME
Saturday, April 10, 9:30 – 12:00
The open house will be held via the Zoom meeting platform, with participation available via computer or by phone.
Meeting ID: 969 9140 3544
Phone: (312) 626 6799 (Chicago area code)
(If needed, a toll-free phone number is available by calling (608) 821-8394 by end of day on April 8.)
The project team will not provide background information about the airport master planning process during the open house so that the focus can be on obtaining public feedback and providing responses to questions raised before and during the event. To accommodate what city officials anticipate will be a large turnout, participants will be asked to limit their speaking time to two minutes each, with everyone having the opportunity to speak before the facilitator provides an opportunity for people to speak again. Questions and comments are also welcome before and after the meeting. The City will also provide future opportunities for public input, both at meetings and through distribution of a community survey. Additional details are available on the project website.
PREPARING FOR THE OPEN HOUSE
The City's consultant has created ten videos that summarize key components of the airport master planning process to date.
