Injury Accidents on Century Avenue at Frank Lloyd Wright Avenue & Century Avenue at Northbrook Drive, Middleton, WI
The driver of the suspect vehicle in the injury crashes in Middleton yesterday afternoon is being identified as:
Ross Cotter-Brown, DOB: 12/06/85, residing at 499 E Mall Ct. of Edgerton, WI, formerly of Middleton.
Cotter-Brown is currently at UW Hospital, but is expected to be released soon. Once he receives medical clearance, he will be transported to the Dane County jail on as of yet undetermined felony charges related to hit and run and reckless endangerment.
Anyone with knowledge of Cotter-Brown’s whereabouts or activities yesterday is asked to contact the Middleton Police Department.
The latest update on the pedestrians that were struck, a 12 year old female from Middleton and a 13 year old female from Middleton, is that they are both stable with non-life threatening, but significant injuries.
A second serious crash occurred several blocks west of the pedestrian crash on Century Avenue at Northbrook Drive, which disabled the suspect vehicle. This was a head on crash. The driver of that vehicle was also transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The incident is being investigated by a Countywide Investigative Team since it was a critical incident involving police in which serious injuries occurred. The Team is composed of a supervisor from Fitchburg Police Department and personnel from Fitchburg, Middleton and University of Wisconsin Police Departments.
