The applicant, Restoring Hope Transplant House (RHTH), is requesting a General Implementation Plan amendment to rezone from Planned Development District-Infill (which no longer exists in the zoning code) to Planned Development District-General Implementation Plan (PDD-GIP) to build an addition on the south side of their lot. The addition will allow RHTH to expand their services from 6 sleeping rooms to 16 sleeping rooms and serve more patients and their families recovering from transplant operations. The property itself is a Middleton local landmark known as the Pierstorff House. The Middleton Landmarks Commission has approved the project.

During the hearing, all interested persons will have an opportunity to speak or register their opinion. Statements may also be provided to City staff by 4:30 p.m. on the day of the hearing. The Plan Commission may take action following the hearing.

Due to the ongoing public health emergency, the City of Middleton is recommending that interested parties log in remotely rather than attend the meeting in person. However, the City can physically accommodate up to seven members of the public in the meeting room at one time in a manner that adheres to state and national guidelines.
