The Water Utility Department will begin system flushing in the downtown area between 7:00 PM on Sunday, September 12th and 5:00 AM on Monday, Sept. 13th. The area is south of University Avenue, from Highway 12/14 to Maple Street. A slight discoloration of the water may be noticed during this time. If you notice a rusty discoloration in the water, running it for a few minutes from a lower level faucet helps clear it up. Thank you for your cooperation.
