What Can I Reserve?

City Hall Green Space

 
Please come into the office to reserve this space. It is the green area next to City Hall. It is $10 for Residents and $15 for Non-Residents. There are no designated bathrooms. If the library and City Hall are open, you may use those restrooms. 


Field and Tennis Court Use


If you are interested in reserving field space or a tennis court, please fill out the field use agreement and return the completed application to the Recreation Office. Field and court reservation requests can be made up to one year in advance. 

FAQ:

  • About how long out from my desired date can I reserve a space?
    • Available dates may vary from year to year. 
    • In-Person: Reservations can be made up to one year in advance or under 30 days if you reserve in person. 
    • Online:  Reservations can be made up to 30 days prior to the desired date if you reserve online.


  • How can I reserve a space?
    • Online: Available through RecDesk. There is a video with step-by-step instructions if you need help with the process. 
    • In-Person: Can be made at City Hall, 7426 Hubbard Ave, Middleton.


  • Do you take reservations over the phone?
    • Sorry!  No reservations can be taken over the phone. 
    • For reservation questions, call the Public Lands, Recreation & Forestry Department at 608-821-8360. 


  • When should I pay the rental fee?
    • The rental fee must be paid in full when the reservation is made. Dates/facilities will not be held; all fees must be paid in order to secure the reservation. 


  • What happens to the rental fee if I need to cancel my reservation?
    • Requests must be made during business hours of 8:15 am - 3:00 pm, Monday - Friday. The refund request must be received at least thirty (30) business days priorto the reservation date. The renter may choose between a 75% refund back to their original form of payment OR a 100% household credit. 
      • The household credit may be used towards future reservations or recreation programs offered by the Parks and Recreation Department (excluding Discount Tickets). 
    • Reservations made within thirty days of the reservation date are not subject to a cancellation refund or credit.


  • When I reserve a facility, will it be guaranteed that we are the only ones there?
    • The City of Middleton does not guarantee absolute privacy to any group. Your reservation will reserve only the facility you are using, not the entire park or other facilities, including the restrooms, within the park.


  • If I am with a Nonprofit, can I rent at a lower rate?
    • Non-profit organizations may be eligible to rent the facilities at a lesser fee. Proof of non-profit status is required.

Non-profits and individuals who cannot complete the online reservation may use the paper application available at the links below. Make checks payable to MRD. Mail the application and payment to: Recreation Office, 7426 Hubbard Avenue, Middleton, WI 53562.
