Traffic

Keeping You Safe

The City of Middleton takes its role in traffic safety seriously. The concerns and suggestions shared with us help improve the city’s roads, pathways, and sidewalks. The following links provide some background information related to traffic control, traffic calming, and pedestrian crossing issues.

While we seek to balance various user needs in our transportation system and make improvements as resources allow, please remember that many traffic concerns take considerable time to study. Quick solutions that seem obvious may not be in the best public interest. In addition, even after a remedy is identified, the city must often prioritize construction of improvements to address the most pressing safety concerns first.
